If TileMerge was advertised to you on Facebook or Instagram, the app tells Meta two things and nothing else — that it was opened, and that the unlock was bought — so that advertising spend can be measured. That report carries no advertising identifier and no name.
What the app stores
TileMerge saves a few things on your device so a game survives being closed: the tiles on the board and your current score, your best score, the largest tile you have ever made, how many games you have played, and your settings.
All of it stays in the app's own storage on the device, and none of it is sent anywhere. Deleting the app deletes it — which also means it does not follow you to a new phone.
What the app does not do
No accounts, sign-in or email address
No adverts inside the app
No analytics, telemetry or crash reporting
No advertising identifier — collection of it is switched off
No tracking across other companies' apps and websites, and therefore no "Ask App Not to Track" prompt
No location, contacts, photos, camera or microphone access
Purchases
TileMerge offers one optional purchase that unlocks endless play. It is handled entirely by Apple — we never see a card number, a name or an address. Apple tells the app only whether the unlock has been bought.
Children
TileMerge is rated 4+ and contains no adverts and no links out. The optional purchase above is subject to Apple's own Ask to Buy and parental controls on a child's device. Nothing about a player, child or otherwise, is collected or profiled.
Changes, and contact
If a future version ever collects anything, this policy will be updated before that version ships, and the change described here rather than quietly made.
